Meet our team

Our team has spent their careers in front-line service provision, including consultation, assessment and diagnosis, individual and group psychotherapy, as well as program development and evaluation, and have a deep understanding of mental health and wellness needs to keep you feeling your best. We treat a variety of concerns including PTSD, depression, anxiety, stress, self-esteem and sleep issues, grief and loss, adjustment, life transitions, emotional regulation, and more.

Dr. Sara Hagstrom, C.Psych

Clinical Psychologist

Sara grew up in Northwestern Ontario and returned to the area after completing her PhD at the University of Windsor, and her residency with the Faculty of Medicine in the Clinical Health Psychology Department. She has worked in Mental Health for over 20 years, providing individual and group therapy, and psychological assessments, In the summer, when not working, Sara can usually be found outside, sitting around a fire, or out on the lake. In the winter months, most likely to be found curled up with a good book, playing a boardgame with friends, or heading out to support a charity event with her quiz team. Sara believes that keeping yourself mentally healthy is just as important as looking after one’s physical health.

Sara is licensed (College of Psychologists & Behavioural Analysts of Ontario) to work with adolescents and adults.

Dr. Amanda Maranzan, C.Psych

Clinical Psychologist

Amanda completed her Ph.D. at Lakehead University, and her residency at Memorial University in St. John’s, Newfoundland. She has 15+ years of experience providing psychological services including individual and group therapy, psychodiagnostic assessment, consultation, and clinical supervision. Hobbies include playing the piano, training her two snow dogs, and traveling with her family throughout Canada’s national parks.

Dr. Missy Teatero, C.Psych

Clinical Psychologist

Missy completed her Ph.D. at Lakehead University, and her residency with the Northern Ontario Psychology Internship Consortium. She has 10+ years of experience in assessment and diagnosis, individual and group psychotherapy, consultation, and supervision. Missy is honoured to work with a variety of clients and has been particularly passionate about providing services to first responders as well as women who are pregnant or in the postpartum period. She provides evidence-based Cognitive Behaviour Therapies and is also trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). She is a stepmom, coffee lover, wannabe workout enthusiast, meditator, non-fiction reader, and breast cancer survivor.
